Tours VS Lessons
Every flight with Pacific Blue Air is a hands-on flight lesson with a certified FAA flight instructor. Once in flight, you will have the opportunity to actually fly the aircraft. Little nervous? Fear not! There is no pressure. Our main goal is that you walk away with an increased knowledge of how to fly a Light Sport Aircraft and an epic experience.
Logged Flight Time
After your lesson, you will receive a signed flight certificate that will allow you to credit your total flight time toward a pilot license should you decide to continue your training.
Through our state-of-the-art Flycom headsets, you will be in communication with your instructor throughout the entire flight.
Obtaining Your LSA Pilot's License
Written and oral exams are required but future pilots can obtain a Light Sport Aircraft Pilot License with as little as 20 in-flight hours.
The Revo Evolution is the top of the line aircraft in Weight-Shift Control Light Sport Aviation. Our Revos are factory-built and FAA certified as S-LSA. Each are tested for 6 g's positive and 3 g's negative, stronger than most conventional aircraft.
Because our high performance wings are designed to glide, if a problem with the legendary Rotax engine ever did arise, our planes could easily sail down to safety with their impressive 10 to 1 glide ratio.
In addition, each aircraft is equipped with a ballistic-deployed parachute that could simply float the entire aircraft down to a safe landing. They are also equipped with a GPS based, emergency location transmitter and transponder.
What should I wear?
Dress for comfort. You'll be provided with a custom Pacific Blue flight suit, but if it's chilly, remember to dress warmer. It always gets cooler as we gain altitude.
If our flights are canceled due to bad weather, will our credit card be charged?
Definitely not. When any type of weather grounds us, we'll simply reschedule a time for you to come back.
Do I have to make a reservation?
Yes. Without one, there's a good chance we'll already have customers booked for the day.
Is there an age limit?
Each person flying must be at least 8 years of age and a minimum of 4"10 in height. There is no upper age limit.
Is there a weight limit?
Our aircraft have a weight limit of 250 lbs per person.
Can I bring a camera?
No loose articles including a camera or phone are allowed during your flight. With a spinning propeller behind us, it's a safety hazard we take very seriously. We do offer video and photo packages if you'd like to capture your flight experience.
What's your cancellation policy?
You may cancel or change your reservation with no charge if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise, your card will be charged the full amount of the scheduled flight lesson.
